Relive the Day... In SHARP FOCUS

High Definition / Standard Definition comparison

Standard video images are made of about 340,000 colored dots called pixels. HD images are made of more than 2 million pixels. If you happened to have a standard TV and an HDTV that had pixels the same size, this picture* shows how much bigger the HDTV would have to be to show all the detail it has.

High Definition Explained

HD stands for High Definition. It's called that because HD video has improved color and 6 times the picture detail of standard definition video.

All Sharp Focus Video wedding videos are shot, edited, and mastered in High Definition. These days the time and money savings of not working in HD are negligible and the benefit of working in HD is substantial, even if the finished product is a Standard Definition DVD.

Our job is to preserve your memories and your memories are far too important for us to not use the tools at our disposal to their fullest.

*A full HD sample image probably wouldn't fit on your computer screen so this one has been shrunk. HD actually looks even better!
